Introduction
The integration of AI into educational leadership is rapidly becoming essential for operational excellence. AI tools like Co-Pilot and Google AI for Education offer robust support for document creation, data analysis, scheduling, and communication—functions critical to senior leadership. Providing SDUSD leaders with access to a high-quality AI solution will enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and foster informed decision-making. Limiting the selection to two industry-leading platforms ensures a balance between innovation and practical deployment. Enterprise-grade, paid AI solutions such as Microsoft Co-Pilot and Google AI for Education are also designed with enhanced data privacy safeguards. Specifically, any data shared or processed on these platforms is restricted and cannot be used to train the underlying AI models. This ensures that sensitive information managed by SDUSD leadership remains confidential and is not incorporated into the broader AI training datasets, aligning with best practices for security and compliance in educational environments.
Requesting AI
Use the following AI License Request form to select which AI platform you would like to receive. Once requests are received, they will be processed and issued through the IT Department. The district will provide an AI license to senior leadership. Other staff may also obtain an AI license at the expense of their department/school site.
