As per Site Operations Bulletin No. 91, the deadline to input Bell Schedules and Calendar information into PowerSchool was February 21, 2025. As a reminder, all schools must enter their 2025-26 Bell Schedules and Calendar in PowerSchool. If your school is changing the number of Periods or Cycle Days for the 2025-26 school year, please submit a request to the IT Help Desk indicating the changes. IT will need to complete the appropriate changes before schools update the Bell Schedule names or enter the Calendar for the 2025-26 school year.
Important! Elementary schools implementing a modified bell schedule for transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten (K) students during the first two weeks of the school year must include an additional period. This adjustment is necessary to ensure that the instructional minutes of a school are accurate during this initial time frame and throughout the academic year.
Bell Schedule and Calendar reports in PowerSchool
To enter your Bell Schedule and Calendar information for 2025-26, please refer to the Bell Schedule and Calendar Setup Job Aid for directions. We’ve included the list of reports below as a resource to use while completing this task. Alternatively, you can visit Professional Learning and sign up for our General Support Open Labs.
· Bell Schedule and Calendar Counts by School – This report shows Bell Schedule and Calendar information by school. To view information for a different year, change the Term in the upper right-hand corner of the page and re-run the report. Only that school’s information will be shown when running the report from a school. If running the report from District Office, you may optionally specify that you only want to include district elementary, middle, high schools, and alternative sites; if set to “No,” Early Childhood and charter schools will be included. To run the report, select sqlReports from the Start Page left-side menu, then expand the group of Attendance reports.
· Bell Schedule Details – This report lists Bell Schedules for a given school, including Start and End Times. To view Bell Schedules for a different year, change the Term in the upper right-hand corner of the page and re-run the report. You may optionally specify that you only want to include periods that meet less than or equal to a certain number of minutes. To run the report, select sqlReports from the Start Page left-side menu, then expand the group of Attendance reports.
· Calendar Setup – This report shows Calendar information for a given school. To view Calendar information for a different year, change the Term in the upper right-hand corner of the page and re-run the report. You may optionally include off-session days. There is also a feature to check for in-session days which are missing a Cycle Day or Bell Schedule. To run the report, select sqlReports from the Start Page left-side menu, then expand the group of Attendance reports.
