Scheduled PowerSchool Downtime

• Downtime begins: Friday, June 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM

• Estimated downtime: Up to 72 hours

• Expected availability: Monday, June 30, 2025

• Note: Summer School sites will not be affected.

What the End-of-Year Process Does

• Closes out 2024-25 school year enrollments.

• Transitions PowerSchool to the 2025-26 school year.

• After completion, continue enrolling student for 2025-26.

• Refer to the EnrollmentHandbook and Guides for detailed instructions.

Key Reminders for Schools

• You will have full access to all 2025-26 students, including those transferring from other schools.

• Do NOT withdraw or drop students who were active at the end of 2024-25.

  • Refer to the "Not Continuing Next Year" video tutorial for guidance.

• Schools may continue adjusting their 2025-26 master scheduled on the live side.

Reports and Data Access

• After the EOY process, some reports for prior-year terms may not function as expected.

  • Refer to the "Running Reports After End of Year" job aid for details.

  • Optional: Print needed reports before June 27.

Account and Portal Access

• Graduating seniors and students not continuing in 2025-26 will have their Active Directory accounts disabled.

  • Please inform families the Powerschool portal access will end for these students.

• The Parent/Student Portal will be disabled on Monday, June 30, 2025, to prevent early access to 2025-26 schedules.

• Schools may re-enable the portal when ready.

• On Friday, August 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM, IT will automatically re-enable the portal for any schools that haven't done so.

  • Schools may disable it again if needed, but must re-enable it by the first day of school.
