Removing Access to Hoonuit and Illuminate

After June 30, 2025, the district will be discontinuing the use of Hoonuit as well as Illuminate. Since these platforms will no longer be used, some related changes will need to be made in PowerSchool and other systems, as outlined below.

Changes in PowerSchool

  • Links to Hoonuit and Illuminate will be removed from the list of Applications in PowerSchool Administrator and/or PowerTeacher.

  • Security roles for FAST and Edgenuity will be removed. The roles related to the FAST assessment are being removed because Illuminate will no longer be used. Security roles for Edgenuity are being removed since they serve no function and do not help to facilitate access to Edgenuity. To clarify, the district will continue to use Edgenuity to offer online learning solutions.

Changes to the IT and District websites

  • Links to Hoonuit and Illuminate will be removed.

  • The DWA Security Request will eventually be updated to remove references to Hoonuit access.

Changes to the Clever Portal

  • Links to Illuminate will be removed.
