Effective Monday, May 18, 2020, the summer registration pages for Summer School and ESY programs will be updated to reflect Summer Distance Learning changes, as communicated to Administrators and Counselors by Integrated Youth Services. A summary of these changes in PowerSchool has been listed below for your reference.
- All Summer Registrations, along with Brick-and-Mortar courses, will be rolled over to the designated distance learning site (SS iHigh) and into their equivalent Edgenuity recovery courses. It is the responsibility of the student’s home school counselor to continue to register students and keep this information current and accurate.
- ESY School assignments will be rolled over to their designated distance learning site. Case managers should continue to register ESY eligible students in PowerSchool Administrator.
- The Summer School database will be made available on May 26, 2020, for host sites to work on teacher and student schedules, and will close on June 5, 2020, at 4:00 PM.
During the weekend of June 6, 2020, summer “School Enrollments” will be created in the Summer Database for all students tagged in PowerSchool Administrator up until June 4, 2020, at 4:00 PM. For students who are not tagged on or before June 4, 2020, they must be manually enrolled and scheduled in the summer school database.
