Please see the information below regarding changes to PowerSchool, effective Monday, May 11, 2020:

Changes in PowerSchool

  • Case Manager added to Student Profile page – The Student Profile page will be updated to show a student’s Case Manager, based on information available from Special Education. Please note these changes are visible on the Student Profile page in PowerSchool Administrator as well as PowerTeacher.
  • District of Residence dropdown menu – The District of Residence dropdown menu will be updated to move inactive districts to the bottom of the list. This information is visible on the Demographics page. The CA Public School menu has been similarly updated, to move inactive schools to the bottom of the list, on the District Exit page.
  • Phone number pop-up – The Attendance Dashboard page will be updated to add a new pop-up window when you select the student’s Home Phone. The pop-up displays each parent/contact/guardian, including emergency contacts, as well as their phone numbers. An icon will appear if a parent/contact/guardian has a primary language other than English. Place your mouse cursor over the icon to see the primary language. The parent/contact/guardian relationship to the student is displayed when you place your mouse cursor over the contact’s name.
