The PowerSchool Mobile app is a "mobile friendly" version of the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal website. Parents and students can use the mobile app to access student attendance, student schedules, class assignments and scores, report card/progress report grades, and email links to teachers.

The mobile app is designed for iPhones/iOS, tablets, and Google/Android devices. Please note you must have a Parent/Student Portal account to use the mobile app. Please also note that certain features available on the Parent/Student Portal website are not available on the mobile app.

Follow the steps below to get the PowerSchool app on your device - including tablets, iPads, and smartphones

    1. Parents, make sure you have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account created first. Find out how to get an Access ID and Password to create your account.

      Most students in grade levels TK-12 should already have an account.

      You must have a Parent/Student Portal account to use the mobile app. If you can login to the Parent/Student Portal website, you should be able to login to the mobile app!

    2. On your tablet, iPad, or smartphone, open the app store and type in PowerSchool. Or click one of the links below to download the app on your device:

    3. Install the app on your device. Please note, only the following devices are currently supported:
      • iPhones/iOS: iOS 10.3+
      • Google/Android: Android 7.0+

  1. When you launch the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter a district code, to search for a school district, or to enter a server address/URL. Parents and students can use any of the following options to configure the app to connect to San Diego Unified School District:
    • Find the code for San Diego Unified School District by logging into the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal and then look near the bottom of the page.
    • Search for San Diego Unified School District in the list of districts for California.
    • Enter the Server Address or URL powerschool.sandi.net
  2. On the Sign In screen, enter your username and password to login.
