Changes to Student Assignment Card reports

Effective Monday, May 20, 2019, changes will be made in PowerSchool to the Student Assignment Card reports. Elementary schools make use of Student Assignment Cards to plan for the upcoming school year. Please share this information with other appropriate school staff at your site.

Student Assignment Cards and Stored searches for English Learners have been updated to show ELPAC results. Schools can run the Student Assignment Card reports in PowerSchool using the directions below. An updated job aid will be provided in the near future with screenshots and additional information. Please contact the Office of Language Acquisition (OLA) with any questions about ELPAC results or Student Assignment Cards.

New Stored Searches

  • English Learner - Female (Initial)
  • English Learner - Female (Summative)
  • English Learner - Male (Initial)
  • English Learner - Male (Summative)
  • Non-English Learner - Female
  • Non-English Learner - Male

New Reports

  • Student Assignment Card
  • Student Assignment Card-EL_Initial
  • Student Assignment Card-EL_Summative

Printing Student Assignment Cards for English Learners with Initial ELPAC results

  1. Print the report for female students:
    • From the PowerSchool Start page, select Stored Searches
    • Select Run Search for English Learner - Female (Initial)
    • The Group Functions page will appear and show the number of students selected near the top of the page
    • Scroll down and select Print Reports
    • Select the report named Student Assignment Card-EL_Initial
    • Click Submit
  2. Print the report for male students:
    • From the PowerSchool Start page, select Stored Searches
    • Select Run Search for English Learner - Male (Initial)
    • The Group Functions page will appear and show the number of students selected near the top of the page
    • Scroll down and select Print Reports
    • Select the report named Student Assignment Card-EL_Initial
    • Click Submit

  1. Print the report for female students:

    • Select the report named Student Assignment Card
