Effective Tuesday, June 11, 2024, the PowerSchool Special Programs IEP and 504 system will have Digital Signature capability. With this new feature, Case Managers and S504 Coordinators can electronically receive the signatures of team members and parent/guardians into their Special Ed and 504 documents.

Documents can be digitally signed through email or in person during the meeting.

When a meeting is held virtually, a Digital Signature request is sent to team members and parent/guardian to submit their signatures back.

IEP/504 document signatures could still be completed manually and be attached to the document.

Case Managers and 504 Coordinators will communicate with parent/guardians and adult students about the new signing options, and provide the Digital Signature Job Aid.
