The elementary student progress reporting periods for 2019-20 can be found in Administrative Circular #54, Pupil Progress Reporting Periods for 2019-20, dated March 12, 2019. This is located in the Bulletins and Circulars archive, under 2018-19.
On Monday, Jan 27, 2020, IT ran a process to change the gradebook default term preference to "E2" for all schools. This will help ensure that grades are entered in the correct grade reporting "bucket."
On the evening of Friday Feb 21, 2020, IT will begin copying the Elementary reporting period 1 (E1) marks to reporting period 2 (E2). This process takes several days and should be finished by the end of the day on Monday, Feb 24, 2020. This process does not change any grades that have already been entered by a teacher for this reporting period. If a student has changed the course they are scheduled into, or the teacher was changed, the grades are not copied forward. In addition, IT does not copy forward any comments.
Please note that IT will be loading the ELPAC Expected Performance Level (XPL) for students in reporting period 2 (E2). Please contact the Office of Language Acquisition (OLA) with any questions about Expected Performance Levels or marks to enter for the Written and Oral Language standards.
Please be sure that all student schedules are as accurate by 4pm Friday, February 21, 2020.
