Entering Bell Schedule and Calendar information for 2021-22
Posted on 05/24/2021 at 11:15

The IT Department has applied basic configuration to the 2021-22 school calendars, including mandated holidays and district breaks. Schools must enter Bell Schedules and Calendar in PowerSchool by Tuesday, June 1, 2021. The Office of Leadership and Learning shared this timeline and circulars in the Principal’s Update on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. As a reminder, the 2021-22 Bell Schedules and Calendar entries will be locked after September 14, 2021.

Elementary Schools: Effective immediately, all MEC courses are discontinued, and sections for these courses will not copy into next year’s master schedule. If you are an Elementary school that chooses to copy the master schedule and is not using the MEC courses this year, you must submit a case to the IT Help Desk indicating the request to copy your school’s master schedule. The copy process must be complete before updating the Bell Schedule names or entering the Calendar for the 2021-22 school year.

Secondary Schools: If your school is changing the number of Periods or Cycle Days for 2021-22, you must submit a request to the IT Help Desk indicating the changes. The IT Department will need to complete the appropriate PowerSchool changes before updating the Bell Schedule names or entering the Calendar for the 2021-22 school year.
