Issues with some users logging into PowerSchool Administrator

Schools have reported that some users are seeing an error message after attempting to login to PowerSchool Administrator at

The IT Division is working to resolve this problem for users as quickly as possible. This issue should be fixed for all users by the end of the day today, Monday, September 30, 2019. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Only some users will see this error, not all. If someone at your school sees an error, the Power User can typically fix the problem by following the steps below. This is only necessary if you wish to attempt to resolve the problem on your own. The IT Division will be handling this for most users to resolve the problem.

  1. From the PowerSchool Start page, select the Staff Search tab
  2. Search for the user by name or employee ID
  3. If multiple matches show up, you'll have to pick one, doesn't matter which one you pick
  4. Select the Security Settings page
  5. Select the second tab of the Security Settings page (Admin Access and Roles)
  6. Click Submit (no need to make any changes, just hit Submit)
