Please see the information below regarding changes to PowerSchool, effective Monday, November 25, 2019:

Other Changes

  • Parent/Student Access page - The Available Features tab will be updated to make it easier for schools to enable or disable features in the PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal. Previously, a disable checkbox appeared for each feature on this page. This page will be improved to show a “switch” users can toggle on or off for each feature.
  • Parent/Student Access page - The Available Features tab will be updated to include a new feature: Students can update their email address. If enabled, this new feature will display the Student Email page in the PowerSchool Student Portal. Students can use the Student Email page to update their own email address in PowerSchool. Please note, this feature will be disabled for all schools, initially. Your school can enable this feature if you would like to allow students to update their email address through the Student Portal. Student email addresses appear in PowerTeacher Gradebook, on the Demographics page, and on various reports within PowerSchool Administrator.
  • Smarter Balanced Assessment scores - Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) 2019 scores for ELA and Math will be added to PowerSchool. These assessment results will be visible on the Test Results page, under Student pages.

New Report

  • Student Email Addresses - A new report will be added to show student email addresses in PowerSchool. The last date/time the student updated the email address is included on this report, for schools who enable this new feature in the PowerSchool Student Portal. To run this report select System Reports, select the sqlReports tab, and then expand the group of Parent/Student Portal reports.
